Icelandair reached out and asked me to create still images and motion of both aircraft and points of interest in Iceland. I made multiple trips to the country.
I was commissioned to create a library of images that showcases the Icelandair fleet, including the Hekla Aurora, Icelandair's northern lights themed plane, the Boeing MAX and various compelling landscapes through the exterior of the country. Emphasis on the enormity of the landmasses and the Northern Lights. Think BIG!
Close coordination with airport officials and airline staff to access the aircraft for the static shots. During down periods, make overnight trips and shorter day trips to locations around the island's periphery.
Despite abysmal weather on both visits, I created images per the brief with a key exception, because of persistent low clouds and rain, the northern lights.
Some images are available for RM Stock and fine art prints.
